END OF BEGINNING

 

It is official... I have graduated! Four years of studying went by too fast and it is time to move on to other things. I have no idea what those other things are going to be, but I guess only time will show. I used to hate changes in life but now I find them intriguing and necessary to go out of my comfort zone and have spiritual growth. I don't think there is any better feeling than accomplishing something you thought you could never do. The world is full of opportunities and you just need to be brave enough to reach out for them and believe you are worthy of all of your dreams.

MARCH LIFE

Spring light <3 / This year's first coffee and tea outside. Opening of Jokiasema is always a sign of spring.   

Looking at my phone's photo memory there are signs that writing my thesis was all I did during March... / The moment when you submitted your thesis for the final review! A glass of wine was much needed!

Spring light part 2 / Fingers crossed my beanie will be ready for next autumn :D

Spring light part 3 / Now that my thesis (and studies) are done I have time to start lifting those weights again. I have missed that :´)

FEBRUARY LIFE

Home <3 / Misson for knitting a beanie has started. Wish me luck :D

LA VIE EN ROSE

 

"La vie en rose" - I'm looking at the world through rose-coloured glasses.

Seeing the positive sides of everything has always been my strength and I'm very thankful for that. A positive mindset has helped me so much to cope with the challenges I have faced over the years and to be honest kept my insanity intact, haha. The next two weeks will be very hectic and my full focus is on completing my thesis. I have never been good at doing things slowly and one step at a time. Everything needs to happen at once and I work the most effectively under pressure. So friends and family, we'll see after the two weeks are over :D

Speaking of a positive mindset, here I listed some good things in my life at the moment:

♡ Planning on our road trip to Southern Norway in the summer. Can't wait to have two weeks of nature therapy again!

♡ Free dental care for students and getting progress for my dental malocclusion issue. Despite my fear of the dentist, I have booked my third appointment and it will be for removing my wisdom tooths. At least my bank account will thank me if I don't... :D

♡ Very successful in decluttering for my clothes and interior decor pieces. Also getting money back after selling them feels so satisfying.

♡ New antique finds and finding my own interior decoring style. The minimalist old-money aesthetic is the one I'm going for.

MAGICAL WINTER

 

Is there anything better than an outdoor adventure in frosty sunny weather? Maybe frosty weather with a rainbow, hehe. Nature has always been my therapist, and I feel so much better every time I am out. Hanging out outdoors has a new meaning now that I am under school stress and need to blow off some steam. I will surely miss those cold days when spring arrives. 

Note to myself: For next winter purchase snow shoes for a new outdoor activity! :D

JANUARY LIFE

FROSTY DAYS

 

This January has been exceptionally freezing! So many beautiful frost days to spend outdoors and admire the beauty of white winter nature. In those days it is easy to love Finland. Around this time one year ago my adventure of a lifetime to Scotland was about to begin. Now while being busy writing my thesis, I can't help but feel a bit down but also grateful to have such amazing memories of my time in Scotland. I will write more about my exchange period in another post and show many photos of the mighty Scotland, where I left half of my heart. Can't wait to start planning my next adventures for this year (after when I finish this pain-in-the-butt thesis and graduate xD)!

NEW YEAR, BETTER ME

 

MY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS FOR THE YEAR 2024:

♡ Start blogging again!! <3

♡ Graduate from UAS.

♡ Train two times per week.

♡ Less screen time and more reading and knitting.

♡ Learn (and dare!) to drive again.

♡ Keep a minimalist mindset for home decor and clothes.

♡ Keep a regular sleeping rhythm (11pm till 8 am).

♡ Drink 2 litres of water per day.

♡ Elevate beauty routines (skin and hair) and do them regularly.

♡ Find my passion back for photographing (and blogging, hehe).

♡ Find the spark (a.k.a. boss bitch / there is nothing I can't do - energy xD) I had while living in Scotland. 

♡ Dare to be different. Search and live the life I have always wanted. Old ways won't open new doors.
