FEBRUARY DAYS

Dear diary, February was such a beautiful month! So many sunny but frosty days, which I love <3

Can't resist a laskiaspulla when I see one. 

I found these gorgeous Guess shirts second-hand. The white one is long-sleeved, and the black one is a t-shirt.  

My bedroom <3

I wanted some change to my living room, so I got rid of my Ikea bookshelves. The plan is to find an antique brown sideboard to store all my books and display my picture frames. 

Pancakes for lunch <3

I did some good sales and second-hand finds. The shoes and the Dior bag are second-hand finds, and the dress is a sale find from H&M.

Valentine's Day looked like this! Long walk in sunshine, buns in Houkutus, receiving a big bouquet of pink roses and a bottle of wine...

... and the day ended with watching Dracula: A Love Tale with some movie treats. Huge recommendation for that movie! Caleb Landry Jones did an amazing job playing Dracula! He is so beautiful I couldn't stop staring at him xD  <3

Snowfall day in Lykynlampi <3

The sauna and avanto in Lykynlampi were exceptional! I'll definitely visit there again, and I think at dark the experience would be even more magical!

JANUARY DAYS

Dear diary, January started with trying the sauna and avanto in Saunakeidas for the first time! I really liked the place, and that you can book your stay there with limited spots. There were only three other people with us, so the whole experience was so calm and peaceful. 

Beautiful location to have a swim all year round!

Cake break with a friend. Taitokortteli is always so pretty, but especially at Christmas time! 

My annual tradition, aka making a vision board and setting my goals for the new year. Always so powering to do!

Ice-skating and laskiaispullat = the best compo ever.  

Getting ready for a girls' night. A glass of wine and catching up is always a good idea. 

Tea break while packing for a weekend trip.  

Day 1 in Helsinki:

Arriving around noon and going for drinks before checking into our room.  

We stayed in this beautiful room at  Bob W., right in the city centre, next to the railway station. Such a convenient location!  

Dinner at Rue Madame. I'm so glad we went there! For a moment, I felt like being abroad in the best way possible. The restaurant is so beautiful, the food was excellent and a special mention to the bathroom! It was so beautiful, but you have to experience it for yourself <3 

We continued our evening with a metal concert, where three different bands (President, Landmvrks, and Architects) were playing. And ended our day with a takeaway pizza. 

Day 2 in Helsinki:

We slept late and had breakfast at Green Hippo. After eating, we wandered around the city centre, visiting shops and admiring the architecture. 

We got a takeaway dinner from Joe & the Juice and headed to our train, ready to travel home. 

DECEMBER DIARY

December was full of fun Christmassy things, and of course, my outfit's colour palette was always according to the theme.  

Cake date with a friend. 

The beginning of December was snowless, which did affect my mood a lot.

My favourite evening tradition was hot cocoa and reading a book in bed <3

On Finlands Indepence Day, me and a friend of mine celebrated it by going to the Christmas market and later in the evening baking gingerbreads while watching the Independence party on TV.

Annual Koli trip. It is always such a pleasure to go there <3 

This year, we had to celebrate Christmas early with my family, which is why I had to buy the presents in advance. 

Pre-Christmas party at my mum's with all family members gathered. 

Rice porridge lunch in Kahvila Rento. 

First time attending a church to sing Christmas songs. Even though I'm an atheist, I really liked it and will definitely go there next year. Such a fun and free way to bring up some Christmas spirit.

Christmas Eve morning looked like this. I'm a big fan of traditions, so Eve morning looks the same each year.

I got tired early of red Christmas decor and only left the tree and lights up until the first of January.

New pink workout jacket to bring back my desire to exercise... I've been so uninspired lately and almost all of my muscle mass is gone.   

I'm so thankful for this year's Christmas gifts <3

New Year's Eve looked like this! Staying at home with a bottle of wine, cheese board and a movie.
