JUNE DIARY

Enjoying one of the first warm days of summer with Nikolai's gelatos.

30s approaching...

Lilacs, my favourite flower. It will always remind me of my grandparents' home and their garden.

Preparing myself for a hot girl summer in my fave beauty salon, Piece of Beauty. Too bad my ride broke down so I had a Tier adventure back home in the rain... :D 

Day trip to Kuopio after a long break. Matkus shopping centre is the best place to do some shopping, and it is not too far away from where I live. 

My baby boy turned 12 this year <3

Museum day in Outokumpu's old mine. The weather was so warm and sunny that we stayed for cold drinks on a terrace. 

MIDSUMMER CELEBRATION

 

Oh, what a beautiful Midsummer! 

The weather on Midsummer's Eve was perfect for outdoor activities and enjoying the warmth of the Finnish summer in nature. I'm a huge fan of traditions in all holidays, and this year was no exception. You'll never find me spending my Midsummer on some festival; instead, you'll find me somewhere around nature with a summer dress on and possibly a wine or Aperol Spritz in my hand. MAY DIARY

May Day celebration at my Mum's. Also, we (read my Dad) barbequed for the first time this year. So delicious to have after a long break!  

I finally found my dream showcase for 100€ at Tori. Luckily, I was the first one to send a message, so I got it! 

My niece had a birthday.

Cosy stay-at-home days are the best <3 

I got flowers! I would love to receive them more often tho (hint hint)...

Pullavohveli date. I almost froze to death sitting outside, even though it was supposed to be a warm day. Couldn't resist wearing my new Gant collar shirt xD

Day in Onkamo and actually swimming longer in the pond for the first time this year<3 

Dogsitting those two white furballs and having sushi for dinner! Later in the evening, after sauna was a facemask and a movie time (watched The Gladiator 2. Pedro Pascal is too gorgeous for this earth).

Ordered some new cosmetic refills. So far, I'm loving all of them! 

Eyebrow/eyelash dye and matcha time. I'm just a girl.

Perfect day: exploring second-hand stores and having lunch on my sunny balcony. Can't believe I found that pink stool for 7€!

APRIL DIARY

April started with baking healthy banana muffins. 

I couldn't resist buying that Sol De Janeiro perfume when it was on sale. It makes you smell like the most delicious treat and lasts so long!  

A real sign of spring is when you want to redecorate your whole apartment. This time, my parents and I reupholstered my balcony chairs with beige fabric. The takatalvi on the background is not vibing with my summer-ready balcony, haha xD 

Girls' night out. Whiskey sour never fails.

In April, I did some really good second-hand purchases. That feather cuffed blazer and Guess wallet are my favourite ones! 

Cake lunch with a friend. That day felt like summer temperature vice <3

Onkamo visit! Creek food and ice swimming <3 

Easter celebration was lovely! Kinder Eggs are a must! 

Photographing session in Kuhasalo. I had forgotten the power of nature therapy after this dreadful winter. Can't wait for nature to start to bloom again!
