Ekaa kertaa rannalla tämän kesän aikana. Oltiin vielä sen verran mamiksia, että ei uskallettu uida, joten makoiltiin vaan auringossa, juoruiltiin ja pelailtiin Skip-Bo:a. 

First time on the beach this summer. We were such wimps that we didn't dare to swim, so we just laid down in the sun, gossiping and playing Skip-Bo.

Mun uudet rokokoo nojatuolit! Bogasin nämä kaunottaret Torista hyvään hintaan ja olinkin juuri etsinyt tuolla kuosilla olevaa tuolia.

Rantaelämää part 10000. Helteiden aikaan ei kotona pystynyt olla ilman tukehtumatta omaan hikeen. Mittasin kotona sisäilmanlämmön ja mittari näytti komeat 32 astetta...

My new rococo armchairs! I got these beauties from Tori for a good price and I had just been looking for a chair with that fabric.

Beach life part 10000. During the heat, it wasn't possible to be at home without suffocating your own sweat. I measured the indoor air temperature at home and the meter looked 32 degrees...

Kentsu täytti 8-vuotta!

Rantaelämää part 10000. Oon vieläkin jumissa tuossa kirjassa, vaikka kaksi ensimmäistä ton kirjasarjan kirjaa meni ihan hyvin, mutta tuo kolmas alkaa jo tökkimään pahasti. Neljäs osa tosiaan odottaa vielä kirjahyllyssä... :D

Kentsu turned 8 years!

Beach life part 10000. I'm still stuck in that book, even though the first two books in the book series went just fine, but that third is starting to repeat the same pattern. The fourth part is still waiting on the bookshelf though... :D

Tämä postaus taitaa olla pelkkiä rantakuvia täynnä, tosin en ihmettele yhtään, sillä en mie oikeastaan muuta tehnytkään kuin asuin rannalla kesäkuun ajan ja elin jäätelöllä.

This post seems to be full of beach pictures, though I’m not surprised at all, as I didn’t really do anything other than live on the beach during the whole June and eat only ice cream.

Treffipäivää viettämässä Mortonin burgereilla, jonka jälkeen mun deitti lähtikin katsomaan jalkapalloa ja itse jäin kotiin kissojen kanssa... :D

Spending date day with Morton's burgers, which after my date went to watch football game and I stayed home with the cats... :D

Kuvauspäivä syreenien keskellä. Keräsin noita myös kotiin tuliaiseksi ja pistin niitä maljakkoon kylppäriin, jonka jälkeen koko huone tuoksui ihan taivaalliselta. 

Photoshooting day in the middle of lilacs. I also collected them at home and put them in a vase in the bathroom, which after the whole room smelled just heavenly.

Toinen kuvauspäivä, mutta tällä kertaa täysin yksin. Puuhasin noiden kuvien parissa koko päivän, jonka jälkeen olin aivan poikki ja ripsiväritkin näköjään levinneenä luomilla. xD

Another shooting day, but this time completely alone. I was working on those pictures all day and after I was just exhausted and also my mascara seemed to be spread on my eyes. xD

 

Banaani-kauralettuja aamupalana, nam. Näitä kun jaksaisi vääntää useamminkin.

Mun ensimmäiset ikiniä ostamani pionit koristamassa olkkaria.

Juhannusviikonloppu tiivistettynä kuviin: herkkuruokaa, viiniä, sangriaa ja luonnossa nauttimista.

Midsummer weekend in a nutshell: delicious food, wine, sangria, and enjoying in nature.

Käytiin tyttöjen kanssa Botaniassa ihailemassa kukkia. En ollutkaan koskaan aikasemmin käynyt siellä kesällä ja varsinkin ulkopuutarha näytti niin kauniilta.

Me and the girls went to Botania to admire the flowers. I had never been there before during summer and especially the outdoor garden looked so beautiful.

Mun ensimmäinen syötävä kukka! Seuraavana aamuna tuo oli puoliksi syötynä pöydällä, joten siitä lähtien parvekkeen ovi on pysynyt öisin kiinni ettei kaksi karvapyllyä pääse sinne...

My first edible flower! The next morning, that was half-eaten on the table, so ever since then the balcony door has stayed closed at night so that the two hairy butts can't get there...
