THE FINAL DAYS

 

Loppu jo häämöttää ja stressilevelit alkavat olla jo menneisyyttä. Enää olisi yksi tentti jäljellä ja huominen etätunti, jonka jälkeen tämä lukuvuosi olisi paketissa. Tämä vuosi meni ennätyksellisen nopeasti, vaikka suurin osa ajasta, jonka luulin viettäväni koululla menikin kotona koneen ääressä. Itse ainakin huomasin, että energiaa riitti paljon enemmän muuhunkin, kun sai opiskella kotoa käsin, joten etävuosi ei haitannut mua juuri ollenkaan. Hieman jo jännittää miten ensi vuosi lähtee käyntiin, jos kaikki tunnit ovat jälleen lähiopetuksena ja jo pelkästään laittautuminen aamuisin ja koululle pyöräileminen vie voimia sen verran, että päivän jälkeen tekee mieli vaan maata paikoillaan loppu päivä. Silloin myös kotitehtävät jäävät viikolla monesti tekemättä ja (mulla ainakin) rentoutumiseen tarkoitettu viikonloppu meneekin koulutehtävien parissa ja muistan vielä hyvin viime syksyn stressin ja epätoivon kun vaan opiskelin seitsemän päivää viikossa ja burnout kävi jo lähellä. Täällä sormet risitissä toivon, että ensi syksystä ja koko vuodesta tulee rennompi työskentelytavasta riippumatta.

Viimepäivinä ei kyllä olla aurinkoa nähty, kun vettä vaan tulee kuin saavista ja Thor takoo mjollnirillä taivalla, että pauke vaan käy. Oon pienestä asti pelännyt ukkosta, mutta kieltämättä on ollut aika siistiä katsoa Viikinki sarjaa samalla kun ukkonen paukkaa taustalla, niin sitä väistämättä itsekin alkaa ajattelemaan kuin nämä yli tuhat vuotta sitten eläneet ihmiset. Enää olisi vain muutama jakso jäljellä Viikinkiä, jonka jälkeen elämä varmasti tuntuu astetta tyhjemmältä, heh. Onneksi sentään mun AC Valhalla peli ei ole vielä edes puolivälissä loppua, joten pääsen vielä jonkin aikaa fiilistelemään viikinkien elämää. Mutta nyt ruuan ja viimeisen tentin kimppuun. Ihanaa viikonalkua teillekin! xo

The finish line is so near and my stress levels are beginning to lower down. There is only one more exam and tomorrows distance lecture to finish until my first semester is complete. This year went surprisingly fast even though the time I thought that I'd be spending on school I spent at home with my laptop. I noticed that I had so much more energy during the days when I get to study distance. Therefore I don't really mind this distance school and I actually prefer it. I'm already anxious about next year if we will be back to normal since even that getting ready and cycling to school takes so much energy from me that after the day I just want to lay still till going to sleep. For that reason I was so close to burnout last autumn because I didn't have enough energy to do my assignment during the week so instead I did them on weekends. And lets just say that studying seven days per week is seriously stuDYING. Here I'm fingers crossed that next autumn and the whole school year would be easier regardless of the way we would be working.

In recent days the sun has been missing since all we have got is pouring rain and Thor beating with his mjollnir hammer. I've been scared of thunder even since I was a child but I have to admit that it has been pretty cool to watch Vikings while a thunderstorm. You are beginning inevitably to think like those people over thousand years ago and quoting Rollo "When you hear thunder, it's only thunder but for me it's still Thor beating his hammer.". There are only a few episodes left and after that I will certainly feel a bit more empty, heh. Fortunately I can enjoy more of the life of  Vikings through my video game AC Valhalla which is still nowhere near being finished. But now I'm going to eat and then begin to do my last exam.
